Kyle Setnor '01 Joins Chapter Celestial

Kyle Douglas Setnor, 43 years old, passed away at 3:45 a.m. on Thursday, June 12, 2025 at his home surrounded by his loving family.  Kyle was born on July 8, 1981 in South Bend and has been a lifelong resident.  He was a computer programmer.

Kyle is survived by his parents, Joe and Patricia Setnor of South Bend; brother, Cory Setnor of South Bend; and his special niece, Abigail.  He is also survived by his aunts, uncles, and many cousins. 

Kyle graduated from Marian High School, Purdue University at West Lafayette, and earned his Master’s degree in computer programming at Indiana University, South Bend Campus. 

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, June 17, 2025 at the Palmer Funeral Home, within the Palmer Community Complex, 601 N. Michigan Street, Lakeville.  Andy Kaser will officiate.  Graveside services and burial will follow at Southlawn Cemetery, South Bend.  Friends may visit with the family on Monday, June 16th from 5:00-7:00 p.m. and beginning at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home.
