Vince Shissler ‘00

Vince is Alumni Advisor and ABC Member working with the Grand Master. He is a 2000 initiate Founding Father of the Chi Chapter. Vince is a Commercial Insurance Producer for The Mitchell Agency.
Vince resides in Lafayette, IN with his wife Gretchen and two children, Theodore - 5 & Violet - 3. In his spare time, Vince enjoys fishing, hiking, swimming, reading, and following Chicago sports teams all with his family.

Adam Bender ‘00

Adam is a 2000 initiate of Chi Chapter and graduated in 2003 with a major in Industrial Engineering. He serves as Alumni Advisor to the Grand Scribe as well as an advisor to the Alumni Relations Chair. Adam later went on to earn his M.B.A. with University of Iowa and is now an Account Manager with Siemens Energy. He lives in Delaware, Ohio and is married to Crystal and they have one daughter, Elizabeth and three sons, Zachary, Evan and Matthew. In his spare time he enjoys spending time with the family biking, hiking, camping, golfing and watching sports.

Chris Charlesworth ‘01

Chris serves on the ABC and advises on Risk Management. Chris graduated from Purdue in 2002 with a major in Mass Communication and a minor in Organizational Leadership & Supervision. 

Chris currently serves as a Director at American Financial Group, Inc., a Fortune 500 Property & Casualty Insurance Company. Chris resides in Naperville, IL withhis wife Kelly and three children Jospehine, Delaney and Lincoln. Chris is a long-time musician who plays the drums, a skiing/biking/hiking enthusiast and enjoys traveling.

Faculty Advisor
Michael Cline ‘84

Michael B. Cline ’84 is the Faculty Advisor for the Kappa Sigma, Chi Chapter. Michael, a professional engineer with decades of leadership and engineering experience in both the public and private sectors, is the Senior Vice President for Administrative Operations at Purdue University. Cline, who earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from Purdue University, returned to the University in July 2013 as the Vice President for Physical Facilities with responsibility for the design and construction of all university facilities, the operation and maintenance of existing buildings, and the Wade Utility Plant.

Since 2013, Cline’s role expanded to include capital programming, campus master planning, sustainability, real estate, procurement, environmental health and public safety, supplier diversity, parking, transportation, and Purdue’s airport. 

Charles Druetzler ‘02

Chaz Druetzler ‘ 02 serves on the Alumni Control Board as an assistant for housing and facilities. He graduated from Purdue with a major in Sales and Selling Management and a minor in Organizational Leadership and Supervision. Chaz is the Chief Estimator for a national commercial construction company. He lives in Fishers, IN with his wife and three children. He volunteers for multiple groups dedicated to serving individuals with Down Syndrome and their families. Chaz has served on the board and is currently the president of an Indianapolis support group which was recently featured on The Today Show.

Drew Frey ‘87

T. Drew Frey ‘87 serves on the Advisory Board. He graduated from Purdue in 1991 with a degree in Mathematics. He is the Mathematics Department Chair at Bloomington High School South. He lives in Bloomington, Indiana with his wife Julie. They have two kids, Alex and Adam, who go to Franklin College and play football. In his free time, he plays guitar in a band (Rough Draft), and he enjoys exercising, and anything to do with sports.

Nick Hoppenjans ‘00

Nick Hoppenjans serves on the Advisory Board. He graduated from Purdue in 2003 with a major in Industrial Engineering. He lives in Villa Hills, KY. Nick and his wife (Megan) have two boys, Reid and Grey. He spends a lot of time volunteering with Redwood (local school for people with disabilities) and coaching youth soccer and baseball. In his free time he plays soccer, runs, and attends FC Cincinnati matches.

Tim Jones ‘87

Tim Jones ’87 is a volunteer on the house management committee. Tim graduated in 1990 with a BS in Hotel Management. He has worked in the hospitality field for 30 years, celebrating his 21st year with Marriott International. Tim and his wife Beth – reside in Cincinnati Ohio. They have 2 children. Tim and his wife enjoy traveling, spending time outdoors, and cycling.

Jeff Kamm ‘00

Jeff is a volunteer for the Chi Chapter Alumni Board serving as the Alumni Advisor to the Grand Treasurer and Advisor to the House Management Chair. He was initiated in 2000 as a Founding Father of the Chi Chapter. He graduated Purdue in 2002 with a degree in Hospitality and Tourism Management and served as a General Manager for several Marriott hotel properties and was the Director of Operations for a non-profit. Jeff is completing his Master’s in Elementary Education at Indiana Wesleyan University and is teaching at Pleasant View Elementary School in Zionsville, IN. He resides in Carmel, IN and in his free time enjoys distance running, bicycling and attending Purdue athletic events.

Karl Kraebber ‘00

Karl is a member of the Kappa Sigma, Chi Chapter, 2000 Pledge Class and is an alumni volunteer serving on the Chi Chapter ABC. He is working directly with the Academic and Alumni Relations committees. He is a founding father of the recolonized Chi Chapter at Purdue University and a 2000 initiate. He graduated in 2003 with a Bachelor’s degree in General Health Science and again in 2008 with a Master’s Degree in Technology with an emphasis in Organizational Leadership. Karl currently serves as the Director for Xenotransplantation Operations at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. He lives in Hoover, Alabama and is married to Erin and they have two girls, Allyson (10) and Hadley (7). In his spare time he enjoys golfing, watching/attending sporting events, live music and cooking.

Kevin Lichterman ‘01

Founding Father Class of 2001: Kevin Lichterman serves on the Advisory Board and advises the Grand Treasurer. He graduated from Purdue University in 2003 with a major in Communications. Kevin is a Vice President with American Landmark Properties and oversees their real estate acquisitions in addition to expanding their investor base. He lives in Skokie, IL with his wife, Amy, and their two children. He is an active Auxiliary Board member with Chicago Youth Centers and spends his free time waterskiing, snow skiing, playing guitar and traveling.

Jeff Madden ‘88

Jeff Madden is a 1988 initiate of Chi Chapter. After earning BS (Applied Math) and MS (Engineering) degrees from Purdue, Jeff went on to earn his MBA at Indiana University and is now president of Harding & Madden Inc, a CPA firm in Indianapolis. He serves as an Assistant Alumni Advisor. He lives in Noblesville, Indiana with his wife Laura and their sons, Conor and Riley, and daughter, Lily. In his spare time he enjoys spending time with the family, traveling, boating and watching sports.

Eric Mayer ‘03

Eric Mayer ’03 is the Assistant Alumni Advisor for the Grand Treasurer as well as the advisor to the Academic/Scholarship Chair. He was a member of the Chi Chapter’s Gamma Pledge Class. He graduated from Purdue in 2005 with a degree in Financial Planning and Counseling. Eric is a Certified Financial Planner® and runs a Wealth Management practice with Raymond James in the Chicago Suburbs. Eric and his wife Rachel reside in Downers Grove, IL with their three children (Noelle, Elise and Travis). Outside of work he is busy coaching his sons teams (football, basketball, and baseball) and traveling to his daughters various dance competitions. When his family has free time they enjoy traveling and visiting the Lake House.

Jason Orth ‘87

Jason is a 1987 initiate of Chi Chapter and graduated in 1990 with a degree in Political Science. Jason is now a principle with the law firm of Kovitz Shifrin Nesbit in Chicago, and is head of the firm’s construction defect Litigation Department. Jason currently serves as an Alumni Advisor to the Chi Chapter. He lives in the Chicago suburbs with his wife Karen and three children. Jason is an avid BBQ enthusiast who competes regularly, having won Grand Champion at the 2016 Windy City BGE Fest Championship.

Bryan Searcy ‘01

Bryan Searcy ’01 serves on the Alumni Board of Control and advises the GP and Risk Management. He graduated from Purdue in 2005 with a degree in Health and Kinesiology with an emphasis on Athletic Training. He is currently a regional manager for Medacta USA, an orthopedic company specializing in total joint replacement. He lives in Naperville, IL with his wife Kate (Purdue Sigma Kappa). They have two children Caleb (9) and Isabella (8). With the little free time they have outside of kids sports and dance, they are Purdue Football season ticket holders and love attending as many games as possible.

Vishal Shah ‘00

Vishal serves as an advisor on the newly formed ABC, specifically working with the Rush and House Management Committees. He graduated from Purdue in 2003 with a BS in Management and was a re-founding father of the Chi Chapter. Vishal has spent his career in the building materials industry and currently works for Georgia Pacific as a Sales Manager and lives in St. Petersburg, FL. When he isn’t occupied by work, you will find Vishal enjoying the Beach Life Florida has to offer. He also enjoys real estate investing, DIY Construction Projects, & investing in the stock market.

Andy Smith ‘99

Andy Smith ‘99 serves on the Advisory Board and advises the GP and Risk Mgmt Committee. He graduated from New Mexico in 2002 with a BS in Chemical Engineering and Purdue in 2004 with an MS in Materials Engineering. He is the Airworthiness Technical Expert for Unmanned Aircraft Systems in the US Air Force. He lives in Dayton, Ohio with his wife, Kristy, and son, Warner. He enjoys hiking, college football and the Cincinnati Reds.

Nick Troiola ‘01

Nick Troiola ‘01 currently serves on the Advisory Board with Alumni Relations. He graduated from Purdue in 2004 with a major in Selling & Sales Management and minor in Organizational Leadership & Supervision. He is a Client Development Manager for Utilimaster, a division of The Shyft Group. He lives in Mishawaka, Indiana with his wife (Tabitha) and two boys (Marshall and Rolly). He serves as Past President of the Mishawaka Education Foundation and also serves as a Commissioner for the City of Mishawaka’s Planning Commission. In his free time he enjoys coaching his son’s baseball team, playing golf, and watching his favorite sports teams - Cubs, Bears, Notre Dame and Purdue.

Ryan Stachon ‘03

Ryan is the Alumni Advisor for the House Management. He is a 2003 initiate of the Chi chapter and graduated in 2006 with a major in Building Construction Management. Ryan is President/ Founder of Alpine Builders located in Denver, CO. In his spare time he enjoys Disc Golfing, Live Music, hiking, camping, skiing, golfing, softball and watching Purdue sports and all Minnesota Pro Sports.

Adam Webb ‘01

Adam Webb is a member of the Kappa Sigma, Chi Chapter, Fall 2001 Pledge Class (Gamma) and serves as the Advisor to the Social/Rush Recruitment Chair. Adam graduated in December 2005 with a Bachelor‘s degree is Hospitality Tourism Management. While in the house, he was the Social chair his sophomore and junior years. He was pledge master his senior year for Fall pledge class.

Adam has been married to his wife, Karolina, for almost a year. They have been together for 9 years. Adam works in the Chicagoland area, for Slatebridge Restaurant Group. He has been with them for 10 years. He was Chef partner for 9 years and just became Operating Partner last October. Before that, he spent his time at numerous restaurants in the area as well as his first full time job at McGraw’s Steakhouse on Purdue’s campus as Executive Chef.

In his spare time, Adam loves golfing, swimming and snorkeling and playing with his dog and daughter. He has a son on the way.

Bob Yeager ‘87

Bob Yeager is a member of the Kappa Sigma, Chi Chapter, Spring 1987 pledge class and serves as the Alumni Advisor for the Grand Scribe as well as the advisor to the Academic/Scholarship Chair. He graduated in May 1990 with a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering. For the last 25 years, he has worked for Rolls-Royce in Indianapolis in various roles within the Experimental Test Department. He currently has the role of Chief of Test Facility Engineer, where he plans and executes strategic facility improvements to the Rolls-Royce test capability. He has been married to his wife, Lori, for the past 26 years and they live in Fortville, Indiana. They have two children. Lindsay graduated from Purdue University in May 2020 with a BS degree in Agriculture Education and is continuing her education at Purdue by pursuing a Masters in Marketing. Jadon will graduate Greenfield-Central High School in July as valedictorian of his class. He will be attending Purdue University in the fall pursuing a degree in Chemical Engineering. Bob looks back on his years in the Chi chapter (1987-1990) with fond memories of the relationships that he formed with his pledge class. These memories have been renewed by attending the Chi Chapter award dinners for Mark McKechnie (fellow EE), Chris Monzel (pledge brother) and Michael Cline. He is proud of the Chi Chapter of Kappa Sigma. He wants to help cultivate the brotherhood, strengthen the leaders, and shape the members as gentlemen. “Each of us has “fallen” for Kappa Sigma and we shouldn’t take that for granted”.

Erik Zink ‘99

Erik is the Assistant Alumni Advisor for the GMC & Rush/ Social Chair. He is a 2002 initiate of the Chi chapter and graduated in 2004 with a BS in Industrial Engineering. Erik is a also a 2010 MBA graduate from the University of Notre Dame. Erik has nearly 10 years of management consulting experience and currently serves as the Director of Corporate Strategy for iOFFICE LP. He lives in Indianapolis, IN and is married to Erica, they have a son Elway and daughter Eleanor. Erik is actively involved in his local church, Northview, and has led/ participated in four missions trips across the world.
